Toromont Cat is located on Hardy Avenue in Grand Falls-Windsor. Toromont Cat took over from a company called Newfoundland Tractor in 1996. At Toromont Cat, they sell heavy equipment such as tractors, and they also sell engines for boats and big trucks. They also sell parts and provide service for Caterpillar equipment. There are twelve people who work at the Grand Falls-Windsor branch, and one of them is my mom. She is a parts clerk. She even operates a forklift.
Toromont is the dealership for Caterpillar in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Manitoba, and North. Cat is one of the top brand of heavy equipment sold around the world.
