Windsor Pharmacy
Windsor Pharmacy is located on Bond Street in Grand Falls-Windsor. Mr. Wayne Morris is the current owner of the business. Mr. Morris worked at the pharmacy for five years when it was owned by the Winslows. He bought the store himself in 1972. The store is often called Wayne’s Pharmacy because so many people know him now.
There is also a clinic upstairs in the store. That makes it easy to go see the doctor and then go downstairs to get any medicine you need. There are about 22 people working at the store. My mom said my Aunt Lil worked there for 17 years before moving to Alberta, but I don’t remember that.
You can buy just about anything at Wayne’s from medicine to jewelry to lots of good treats. At Christmas time they sell a huge assortment of Christmas decorations. Wayne always gives our class some of the envelopes thet are left over from the holiday greeting cards that aren't sold. We use them for all the great projects we do. We like them because they're all different colours and sizes.
