Lefty's Pizza is the place where "You get the best for your money!" It is located on 24 Lincoln Road, which is very close to my house. Lefty's Pizza opened June 10, 1981. This year is the 25th anniversary of the store. Lefty's Pizza sells excellent pizza, of course. It also sells garlic fingers, pizza burgers, lasagna, other foods, and all kinds of drinks. You can eat in, pick up, or have your food delivered to you.
After Christmas this year our pen pals at Tany's Dell School in Harlow, England made flat people like in the Flat Stanley books by Jeff Brown. They sent them to us so they could accompany us on our adventures. Our Flat Pen Pals accompanied my whole class to Lefty's Pizza to get pictures for my report. Frankie gave us all a piece of pizza and a drink. The pizza was delicious. Frankie even let me make a pizza with Ms. Warr’s favourite toppings to bring back to the teachers at our school. My flat pen pal, Flat Rumman Miah, helped me make the pizza.
Only three people work at Lefty’s Pizza, Lefty, Frankie and their son, Tony. Although the store is called Lefty's Pizza, Lefty does not make the pizza. Frankie does. But, Lefty delivers the pizza. Also, Lefty's brother runs a dry cleaning business next door. The best part about the pizza store is that my BEST friends make the BEST pizza for ME!
