Cartwright Medical Clinic
Cartwright Medical Clinic is an Internal Medicine Clinic. It is located at 11 Cartwright Plaza in Grand Falls-Windsor. The clinic was built by Dr. Pandu Shetty in 1993. Dr. Shetty maintained his practice for many years and later Dr. James Sheridan took over ownership in 2001. The building has housed a number of physicians and it is one of the many out-patient clinics for Central West Health. In 2006 the building underwent extensive renovations and a major expansion. Altogether there are five consultant rooms and it is an ultra-modern and state-of-the-art clinic. It has a large waiting area and it is a gorgeous place for secretaries. The building is currently occupied by Dr. Sheridan, my dad (Dr. Saeed), Dr. Fudge, and Dr. Kharma. One day after school five of my classmates and I visited Cartwright Medical Clinic with our teacher and Denika Lewis’s mom. We also took our Flat Pen Pals from Tany’s Dell School in Harlow, England with us. Ms. Warr introduced herself and my friends to my dad’s secretary, Susan. In the clinic the patients are seen by appointment and usually wait until they are seen by a doctor. Meanwhile, the patients can read magazines in the large waiting room. We went into my dad’s office and the room was well equipped with all sorts of modern facilities. When a patient enters my dad’s office he usually evaluates the patient first and then checks his or her blood pressure and weight, and then gives recommendations. My classmates loved it when my dad pretended he was giving my flat pen pal, Flat Louise Higgins, a throat exam using a tongue depressor. Ms. Warr, Mrs. Lewis, and my classmates loved the food that they prepared for us. It was delicious. They also gave us great loot bags when we were leaving. Thank you for making our visit to Cartwright Medical Clinic so enjoyable.
